Junior Golf

At Petersfield Golf Club, we believe that golf is for everyone and are committed to growing the game at grass roots level by introducing more children to golf. We appreciate the physical, mental and social benefits for our young people and endeavour to provide an ideal environment in which they can enjoy developing their skills and building a love for this great game. To achieve this, we subscribe to the Operation 36 Model, see below…

We believe that Operation 36 is the best programme for developing our young golfers, from beginners to advanced levels. Our vision is to build an active and thriving junior section which our children will be proud to be part of. The junior section is run by a volunteer Junior Organiser assisted by other volunteers, whilst our PGA Teaching Professional, Donovan Hall is responsible for delivering the Operation 36 Programme.

The club is also fortunate in having a beautiful, 12 hole trainer course (South Petersfield), where juniors can play without pressure from adult members, and progress to the main course when they feel ready to do so.
